Food Drive & Community Appreciation: HaysHope2Go
Hays Hope 2 Go Food Drive
If you follow us on Social Media @ModernRootsRealtyGroup, you have seen us share about the Food Drive we are Sponsoring for HaysHope2Go. There are families living right here in our city, community and neighborhoods that are struggling with where their next meal is coming from. As neighbors, we can get involved to make sure no families go hungry here in Hays County. HaysHope2Go was started to fill the gap and meet this need.
November 1-13th we are accepting canned food donations at our downtown Buda office at 305 Railroad St. We are also accepting monetary donations via Venmo @Laura-Obrien-15.
Items needed are:
Peanut Butter 18 ounce
Peanut Butter Crackers
Granola Bars
Mac & Cheese Cups/Box
Canned Refried Beans
Oatmeal Packs
Ramen Noodle Cups/Packs
We not only want to collect food to support the families in the Hays School District, we also want to honor HayaHope2Go, our clients and our community by hosting a Community Appreciation Event on November 13th 1-3PM at Nate’s in Buda. If you have made a donation or bring your donation tp the event, you will be given a ticket for a free drink on us!
"HaysHope2Go is a project to alleviate hunger among our students who are most in need. Food insecurity is a major barrier to having students focus on their work in class on their way to reaching their full academic potential. With our community’s support and generosity, the Hays CISD Clothes Closet, our volunteers, and our amazing community partners are ready to take on poverty and hunger for the benefit of the children in our district”
